Here I have made a list of few beaches which you must visit on your trip.

Saunton Sands

This place has been chosen by some famous people like Olly Murs and Robbie Williams to make their music video. Apart from that, this beach in Devon has been a hot spot for surfers. If you are new to the place you can get the help of local surf classes to ride the waves. If you are not that kind of the person, you can just walk around the village and take a view. It can be an ideal place to spend a weekend.

Birling Gap

This beach is located on South Downs of Sussex and is famous for its white cliffs. It is true that it has not much to offer for a night break still you can walk around the shore and explore the rockpools. The place has a cafe, visitor centre and a shop which is administered by the National Trust.


Polzeath is a beach situated in Cornwall. This is an ideal place for families looking for a spot to enjoy. You can even get the chance to swim with dolphins here. Daymer bay is located nearby and you can reach there by just walking. Here waves are small and so windsurfers and swimmers prefer this location.


If you are the kind of the person who loves to get involved in some activity, this is the right place. This place is famous for fishing salmons as well as bird watching. The place is remote but has more to offer. The famous spots Giant’s Causeway and the rope bridge Carrick-a-Rede is at a shorter distance. So you can visit them too.

Crosby beach

A break from the hustle and bustle of Liverpool city is the way towards Crosby beach. At the beach, you will find the sculptures of Anthony Gormley, cast in iron. You can also bring in your dogs here just for a walk.


If you are looking for an ideal British beach, this is it. The beaches come with colourful huts and also serves you the chips and fresh fishes. They also offer you the chance to carry out a sea safari and watch seals from near.


This place has more to offer. The place carries a lot of history and can be ideal to take a look. Here you will find about 200 buildings that are listed in history along with Tudor Merchant’s house. You can visit them too along your trip to the shore. During summer, you will find stripy deck chairs along the cost and a number of cafes and pubs nearby. They can be ideal to spend a good time.
